REC is the annual Ryerson Engineering Competition. Held every year since 2006, this competition brings together the best and brightest minds in Ryerson Engineering. And a few who just want to have fun. Every Engineering student has the chance to compete in a team in one of seven different competitions, all of which include aspects of innovation, design and communication. At the end of the competition, the top three teams in each category are announced, and the winning team in each category will move on to the Ontario Engineering Competition.
The Ontario Engineering Competition (aka OEC) is an annual engineering competition, bringing the brightest and the most talented engineering students from across Ontario together for a gripping three days of competitions. Each team brings a unique edge to one of seven different competitions; from programming, to prototype development, to debates, there is a challenge suited for any taste!
OEC 2017 will be held at Carleton University.
Each year, the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) brings together 150 of the most innovative and creative engineering undergraduate students from across the nation to compete against each other in one of six categories, ranging from design, consulting, presentation and debate. Each competition category at CEC challenges its participants to expand their frame of reference and to identify solutions to problems experienced by our profession.
CEC 2017 will be held at the University of Calgary.
